Easter Wreaths

Nothing says spring more than the beautiful wreaths that are full of beautiful, soft, pastel colours. Get your kids involved in making an Easter wreath that they can put up on their bedroom door. This simple craft involves paper plate, easter coloured paper and some glue!

Pinecone Bunnies

With spring comes more outdoor time! This adorable craft will combine indoor creativity and outdoor adventure. For this craft, you will need googly eyes, twine, felt, hot glue and a pinecone! Take the kids outside to collect the pinecones that the squirrels didn’t scoop up first. Make it into a game to see who can collect the most pinecones. Go through your pile and get the kids to choose the best one. Bring it inside and start making this adorable Easter bunny which can help your kids Easter morning on their egg hunt!

Fingerprint Chicks

From toddler to teens, this blogger has some great ideas! Including fingerprint chicks. This activity is one for all ages, including your youngest one. Make grandma and grandpa a card from the kids with their fingerprints. The older kids can even do some of the finer detailed drawings to make it a craft for the entire family!

Bunny Finger Puppets

This craft is one that the kids can use past Easter! For this craft, you will need cardstock paper, googly eyes, and a marker. Once complete, pull out your kid’s favourite Easter story, or make an adventure out of it and go to the library, and then play out the story with your new puppet. You could even make an entire crew of puppets to play out any story, no matter the time of year!

We hope you enjoy these crafts and have an awesome Easter full of renewal, chocolate and good family time!

Sarah Kelly is the owner of Adanac Au Pair. She was an Au Pair in France for a year living with an incredible family. Sarah saw the child care crisis in Canada and thought it was time to bring the Au Pair Program to Canada. She decided to start her own Au Pair agency to share her experience with Canadian families and young adults who want to work & travel.
